Overnight stop for fuel @ Port Edgar

Port Edgar Crane

We popped into Port Edgar for an overnight; mainly to pick up some fuel, as we were running pretty low following the trip over from the Netherlands at Easter. I had imagined that red diesel would have been a bit cheaper than the £1.30 per litre that we paid [I was wrong].

The journey itself was calm and uneventful with just a tanker to navigate around. The kids sat up front at the bow, as the weather was particularly good. Once we were fuelled, we waited around for a shore-power cable which I had ordered online and was delivered to our boat c/o the marina, knowing that it would come in handy over the following few days on our planned micro-cruise up the East Neuk.
